Spartan Staffing Solutions is currently seeking Territory Sales Representative (Heavy Equipment) in the Edison NJ area. You will be responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing customer business. Perform the following activities in assigned geographic region / sales territory:
Travel to visit current and prospective customers in order to demonstrate equipment and
assess their particular equipment needs;
Prepare and send product specification and quotation packages to customers;
Make follow-up calls and prepare emails with regard to customer inquiries;
Attend seminars, equipment shows, trade shows, and construction / industry-related events
in order to increase exposure of company products;
Remain current on industry events, changes, needs, trends, and challenges;
Maintain contact with customers before, during, and after each sale to ensure customer satisfaction and to ensure responsiveness to customer needs
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience in equipment industry sales
Strong relationship building skills will be necessary, as well the ability to speak in front of
individual or groups
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate equipment and drive a company vehicle
truck with trailer
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
