Product Service & Support Sales Representative

Spartan Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leader in Material Handling Equipment rental and sales. Together we are in search of a Product Service & Support Sales Rep for their team in Bristol PA 

Description: 
Aftermarket Sales position that also plays a key supporting role to the Equipment Sales team.
Responsible for providing customer service and support as it relates to the sale of parts, service and accessories. Reporting to the Industrial Equipment Product Manager.
Entry level position that, with sustained success, will progress into a Equipment Sales role.

Responsibilities: 
Assisting the sales team with the organization and execution of product demonstrations. General and fast-acting sales team support in urgent time sensitive project matters.
Preparing and presenting aftermarket sales (parts, service and accessories) proposals under the guidance and direction of the respective department managers.
Extensive local daily travel to/from customer locations.
Daily reporting of activities and contacts in company CRM.
Assist the sales and marketing departments with trade show and customer event planning and execution.
 
Skills:
Sales aptitude. Highly outgoing and motivated with a general comfort with in-person negotiating and problem solving. A willingness to cold call customers in person. Professionally assertive and not hindered by objection.  
Adaptive and coachable. A good listener that will take the time to understand the situation at hand and then, alone or with management, bring forth thoughtful strategies that are geared toward solving problems and/or maximizing opportunities.
Time management and organization. The ability to thoughtfully plan, prioritize, and execute daily activities in a way that is thoughtful, effective and efficient.
The ability to prepare and deliver professional (in appearance and content) sales presentations, both internally and customer facing.
A general mechanical aptitude (practical experience is very beneficial) will be necessary.
Technology savvy.
A good driver that is comfortable with a role that requires ongoing and extensive daily travel.

Requirements:
Professional in appearance and behavior
Clean driving record – Able to drive extensively while remaining safe and courteous. CDL is a plus.
Available to participate in business and customer appreciation events during non-business hours. May require overnight, expenses paid, travel.
Available to attend company paid training events that may require travel and overnight stays ranging from 1-5 days, typically.
Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma with relative sales experience
Working knowledge of basic business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
The willingness and ability to be trained and coached cannot be overstated.
