Parts Supervisor
Vaudreuil- Dorion, QCSpartan Staffing Solutions has partnered with a dealer in Material Handling Machinery. Together we are in search of a Parts Specialist to join their team in Vaudreuil- Dorion QC area.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Directly manage Parts Associates and Parts Representatives on the order desk.
- Supervise, plan, assign, and review the work of clerks engaged in various duties within the Parts Department.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products.
- Ensure adherence to policies, safety procedures, and regulations; actively participate in their improvement.
- Address and resolve problems and complaints related to the department's activities.
- Implement corrective measures and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train workers in job duties to ensure a competent and skilled team.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews of supervised workers.
- Occasionally perform the same duties as workers supervised to understand workflow and challenges.
- Handle overflow of Dealer calls/emails for parts as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality in department operations.
- Ensure that weekly cycle counts are performed by the Shipping/Receiving department to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Perform other duties as required to support the smooth functioning of the Parts Department.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
- Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
- Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset
